This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I keep trying to do it but It just doesn't work out for me cause I will get SEVERELY tired of doing it and then stop doing it.
I feel like maybe if I am not cut out to be a comic artist. I will have to pursue other avenues of artistry.
It's a hard thing trying to find your niche. I thought it was animation, but I recently cannot bring myself to set down and do that routinely either. I am beginning to think I have ADD because my attention span is about <------------> that big.
My style for actual pencil work is starting to cement itself much to my dismay. I need to take another drawing class. Probably anatomy.
Truth be told, I find that I can really focus on my work far more when I am in a classroom, with an easel and a subject, and a media I understand. I could work with charcoal for what feels like hours. I wish there was a way to transfer that feel of charcoal to the digital world.
Would anyone out in DA land be interesting in some art trading? I can make a picture, you can make a picture, we can compare notes afterward? I'll even take some requests at this point, probably on a routine basis.

if i draw from any reference, it's usually from life.
And I don't blame you at all for drawing for life--it's always better than just looking at pics.
